Adam and I had an evening of "freedom," as some might call it. The Smiths in our ward offered to take our kids for the evening, the WHOLE evening. Although it was weird not coming home to young ones, it gave us sleep and a chance to catch our breath for the next forever years.
So, without kids what did we do? Well, we ate out. Never happens. We chose Panera, YUM. Then we went to a movie. Since we knew that the opportunity to go and see a movie truly never happens we had to choose wisely. That is why we chose Les Miserables. Excellent choice.
We loved the story and the music and just being together. When it was done, we didn't have to rush home to get the kids or have to worry about how late it was. We took our time. It was so nice. Then we played Skip-Bo, I actually won! Never happens. Then we went to bed early! Sleeping in until 9, thank you very much. Thank you Smiths for giving us a night to just breathe and regain our energy for another 18 years.... and more. Ha.
Not a lot of pictures. Really just me happy I won and then proof that FINALLY Adam did withhold a card in order to prevent me from moving. That is how he always wins... drives me crazy. Love that boy.
