Oh Gabby Girl

So, Gabby really enjoys dancing in the car.  I keep telling myself that I need to record her and show everyone.  Well, I finally did it, however she stopped dancing the minute I got the camera out and did something so funny.  Enjoy. We could not stop laughing when we re-watched it later that evening.  Such a funny girl.  OH and the bottom video is Ethan talking.

Tick- Finally Got Us

So- when moving here, people kept warning me about ticks and many would say, "Oh, no worries, the chances of you getting one is so small." Well, I guess that it wasn't small enough.  On Friday, I noticed a very tiny thing on Gabby's neck.  I thought that it was a scab of some sort and I tried to get it off, but she kept moving, so I figured that it could fall of on it's own.  Then later in the evening, I noticed that this "scab" had doubled in size and I of course panic.  Adam had just left to run in a 10 mile race and there was no way that I was taking it out on my own.  Gross.

So I threw the kids in the car and went to Adam.  He hadn't started the race yet, so I had him pull it out.  So Gross. Now we just have to watch it and make sure that she doesn't get sick from it.  Of course, I documented it- nothing bloody, just the small creature stuck in Gabby's neck... so would be a vampire tick? Hmmm.... Gabby might be turning into a vampire- Twilight all over again, great.

See how small it is?  They are so gross and I don't like how hard it is to detect.

Our Handsome Little Man

Ethan is now 2 months old and has blossomed so much.  He loves smiling and talking- and he loves watching Gabby and Daddy.  He always has his eye on them whenever they are around- so cute.  He is measuring in at 14 lbs and 24 in.  Big Boy.  That is almost double his birth weight. He loves his food. Here are some cute pics that we took of him this past week.  Someday I'll have my very own AMAZING nice camera, but until then, I'll have my point and shoot camera to help me capture these precious moments. Enjoy-

This outfit was Adam's when he was a baby.  It is so adorable.  I couldn't stop taking pictures of him.

I can never keep him dry. He drools and spits up so much- so gross. But we love him for it...

Gabby always insists that her baby (Mickey) and her other baby (Ethan) lay together. Love it.

Humor on the Batman Disaster Date

Ethan came with us to Batman on Monday and he loved it.  For those of you out there saying, "What, they took their 2 1/2 month old to Batman?" I would like to reply with, "Why yes. Yes we did. And he LOVED it" Crazy boy.  He stayed awake the WHOLE time talking to the movie and smiling.  Don't worry, I closed his eyes during the rather not so good parts.  Thank goodness he won't remember it, right?  Well, before the movie started, I put his PJs on that happened to be the ones Adam wore when he was a young one.  I didn't see it before, but they had a hole in the foot of them.  Well, by the time the movie was done, Ethan's foot had managed to squeeze out of that once upon a time small hole and became an open toe wonder.  I wish that I had taken a picture of the complete outfit, but I think that I was laughing so hard that my mind was focused on the foot alone.  So cute.

Ducks are Our Friends

I swear, Gabby has yet to know fear.  She is adventurous in every way especially when there are other children around.  We went to a small farm that had ducks, goats, and other animals.  She loved it, of course.  She was able to feed them, too.  One duck came up to her and stole her food and all she did was laugh.  Then she tried to get it back from him.  So cute.  We had fun- until the humidity started choking us because it was so high.  Still getting use it. Enjoy the pics-

Gabby adores this girl.  She follows her everywhere.  I'm sure that this girl must get annoyed at times with Gabby, but she is so good to her.  Gabby even threw up on her and all she did was calmly tell me that Gabby wasn't feeling good. So grateful for her.

My favorite flowers and they are EVERYWHERE here.  They make me so happy.

Looking at fish in a pond. So cute.  Below is Gabby's little friend.  She is a few months older than Gabby.  Hopefully one day they will realize that they can play together- but for right now they will just follow the older ones around.

It was a fun day.  Got to love those day trips!!!
