Bouncin' Fun

We have a bouncer for Ethan, but Gabby loves to play in it more.  She also loves blankets.  This time she hid herself under the blanket and when Adam pulled it off, this was her reaction.  She is too adorable.

Lost Christmas PJs

We found Ethan's Christmas PJs AFTER Christmas, but we still insisted on him wearing it.  He looks just like Elf.  So adorable.

Walking in the Snow

We have missed walking in the snow and since it snows here and then freezes, we couldn't miss the opportunity to go walking in it.  Sadly, it gets dark around 4:30 here so once the kids got up it was already getting dark.  But it was still perfect.  We loved it.

Brush Those Teeth

Gabby loves brushing her teeth and now her daddy's teeth.... too cute

Swimming in the Ocean- January

One of the MANY things I love about Adam is his love for adventure and living.  He loves doing crazy things and doing whatever makes him happy.  One of these things would be the desire to swim in the ocean in January.  What?  It was such a cold day that day and according to him, it wasn't better in the ocean.  Gabby and I loved watching him and enjoyed the heat in the car when we all were able to get back inside. Burrrr... crazy boy.

The Morning After New York

These are just pictures of Gabby the morning after we were home from New York.  She woke up with this crazy hair.  We giggled, then she insisted on looking in the mirror, ran back in and laughed with us.  I took a few pictures and still, afterwards, when she sees them she just laughs.  Got to love it!!

New York: Day 3

It was sad to see this mini vacation end.  It was such a treat to be there and so nice to be away from the norms of life.  We are grateful that we had 3 days there.  However, the last day the weather had changed and was REALLY cold.  So- it limited how much we were able to do because the kids were freezing no matter how many layers we put on them.  This pushed us to end the day earlier which was good because we were able to get home and get the kids to bed at an earlier hour- we will take that.

The 3rd day schedule-

* Go see Times Square again. Making stops at the Disney Store, Toys R Us and take some more pictures.  So fun.  We LOVED seeing something Disney.  The store was amazing, as was expected, and we were able to watch some fun clips that we had never before seen.  Toys R Us was superb.  Normally not a huge fan of the store (don't know why) but this store was incredible.  Gabby got to meet the Giraffe and ride their ferris wheel.  Fun.  We then saw the giant T-Rex.  It was just amazing.

* Walk to Central Park.  My goodness.  It was freezing outside and crazy thing is- we never became warm from all that walking.  Normally when you walk you end up wanting to shed layers while walking because you become so warm.  It NEVER happened.  Matter of fact, it felt like it became colder. What the New York weather?

* See Central Park.  I am so sad about this, but we really only saw the entrance of the park because it was so cold.  Sigh. But that is the joy of living so close to New York.  The next trip we can focus on seeing the park.  Fun.  It really was beautiful from the part we saw and was what I had expected it to be.

* Go back to hotel, gather items, go to Grand Central Station and catch train back.  It was one of those cool moments where you get there just in time and you are running to catch the train.  We felt pretty awesome that we caught it just in the nick of time.  Amazing, really.

* Got back to our car to see that it had snowed.  Gabby insisted that her and Adam make a snowman, so they made it on the top of our hood!!! He stayed there for a good hour before flying away.  So cool.

* Finally reached home and slept!! Great adventure and great memories!!

Now the pictures... enjoy.

Really don't know why she is making this face... still a cute picture
