Toad on Our Front Porch

We came home to a toad sitting on our front rug.  I died when I saw it and wanted to scream, but Gabby is in love with ALL animals, insects, anything that moves, and somethings that are dead. So in order to not ruin it for her, I held in my scream and calmly said, "look.  There is a cute frog at our door." Then Adam took over and I just stood by and took pictures.  We do what we do best.  Thank goodness for my better half. They touched it and then released him back into the wild.

Our front yard of a forest.

If you look closely you can see the toad just sitting there.  I don't think that he was too thrilled to be put back. It probably was hard work for him to get to our door in the first place.  It was a nice visit.

First Day of Adam's Second Year of School

I just wanted to remember how super handsome he is going off to school... Here is to the 2nd year of PT school.  May you not be as difficult as the first and may you be ever so kind to us... please.  And Thank you.

Ethan's One Year Appointment

Ethan's Stats for his one year:

Height: 30 inches
Weight 20lbs 12oz (now he is 22lbs...)

I don't like the whole doctor scene of stabbing  my kids with needles.  I'll do it if I have to, but I would rather not be there.  Thank goodness Adam was there to hold and comfort Ethan.  Poor guy.  But he is now one and ready for his next year...

Ethan's Birthday Party!

WARNING:  A large amount of pictures are posted on here... good luck and enjoy.

It was a fun party.  We celebrated both being here a year and Ethan.  How I LOVE and ADORE the people who we have met here.  They are just fantastic.  Instant family.  It was fun to party with them.  We ate, talked and played Minute to Win It games.  FUN.  So Fun.

Testing out the monster sugar cookies.

She is excited.  We had sugar cookies in funky shapes with fun toppings to make your own monster.  Yum.  Then we had pizza bites, fruit salad, and nutty buddies.

And a bird pooped on me... thanks
