Farm, Again

Love our farm time.  So grateful that it is right next to us... love those animals.

Hugs

Ethan is at the stage where he LOVES giving hugs.  Gabby was passing him when he was done eating, but still in his chair, and Ethan grabbed her and just gave her hug after hug.  She would try to pull away but he would pull her back in and hug her some more.  Too cute.  Then he did it to Adam.  After playing and hide and go seek first....

Bingo

We played BINGO for family night.  Gabby just ate the candy, Ethan made a mess, Adam was serious about winning the grand prize, and I just enjoyed watching and pretending that I was trying to beat Adam.  Fun night.

B.Y.O.B.

Does not mean Bring Your Own Beef.

We went to a baby shower of one of our friends that we met at PT school.  Lovely couple.  Anyway. On the invite it said BYOB.  When Adam told me he said that that meant Bring Your Own Beef.  Well, I was in the mood for pizza that night and we didn't want to stay too long because we needed to get the kids to bed, so we brought hotdogs for the kids.

Well, we waited and waited for a BBQ to get started but nothing of that sort happened.  Matter of fact they had sandwiches and other foods inside that did NOT go with a BBQ.  We continued talking and socializing and I was noticing that those who were coming were bringing their own beer.  I thought that that was strange, but since Adam and I normally don't attend parties with beer I just figured that it was custom for people to bring their own beer just incase they won't approve of the beer provided.

The kids were getting really hungry and the food there just wasn't holding them over, so we took off.  Then in the car I was telling Adam about the beer and then we talked about the no BBQ and then the LIGHTBULB went on.  Yes... B.Y.O.B means.....

Bring Your Own Beer.  We laughed and laughed and called family and friends and laughed some more.  We still laugh about it.  Too funny.

It was really an enjoyable evening and one that we will remember.... love it.

Look how adorable this chicken is!!! This house, the place the party was held, was INCREDIBLE!! Gabby and Ethan loved the chickens.

And Gabby loved chilling with this guy and eating her apple. Silly girl.  She talked his ears off about who knows what... probably the fact that there was no BBQ. :)

It is BEACH TIME

FINALLY!!! Love beach season.  We went and were just planning on being us, but then we met up with another family who was there and then more followed.  It was so fun and relaxing.  I am looking forward to some more beach time soon.

Every time big Ethan made a hole, little Ethan would crawl in and just sit there.

LOVE his face here... eating sand is not fun.
 Mr. Owen and Ethan playing

Caught in the act. Ethan loved attacking the kids. We need to talk to him about not doing that

Waiting for Daddy

Some days life just goes by slow.  On those days... I REALLY have to come up with clever ways to make life count.  Lately, those days have been consisting of really slow walks to Adam's school where we will eat lunch and then wait for him to go out.  It is painful waiting, but the kids love it and don't seem to mind it at all.  Thank goodness because it saves the moments of being stuck inside until weather changes...

Memorial Day... yes we are that far behind

Memorial Day was just delightful.  We went over to Donna's house, one of our friends from church. We played games, ate fabulous food, and enjoyed the sun.  It was just so nice.  Then we went home, slept, then took off to the Johnsons' for some food and a baseball game.  LOVED it.  How grateful I am for the people we know here.

Gabby loves her friend... too much fun
