Nutcracker in Boston

Every year since I can remember, my family has gone to see the Nutcracker.  We have been to both Portland and Denver.  Both different from each other in the execution, but both a beautiful display of the Nutcracker.  Being short on funds, we were fortunate enough to be bless to go to the Nutcracker this year in Boston.  It was a FULL day without the kids and a FULL day of just us.  I can't remember the last time that that has happened.  It was held in the Boston Opera House and it was just breath taking.  I wish that the pictures did it justice, but alas they don't.  Sigh.

The performance was beautiful.  Everything about it was just beautiful.  Afterwards we walked the streets of Boston and ate pizza.  It was hard to make our way back home, but it was fun to see the kids again.  Oh what a great day!!!

 Isn't this fireplace just beautiful?

We got to sit on Santa's lap and see downtown Boston at night.  So fantastic.  We wanted to ice skate but $30 was just a little over the budget of college students.  It was fun to watch them skate.

Instead of ice skating we threw snow balls.  How romantic.

LOVE this pizza!!!! It was a perfect end for a perfect day.
