Ethan's Birthday... The Boy is

ONE!!!  Crazy.  It has gone by so fast.  He has been fun to watch this past year.  He came out screaming and wanting food food food.  Then he cried and complained a lot for the first few months.  He just wanted us to hold him. Especially at night.  I would lay him on my chest and he could sleep there for the rest of the night.  It was exhausting.  Then around 7 months, he calmed down some and enjoyed more of his moments throughout the day.

He didn't crawl until 11 months.  He just didn't want to.  He enjoyed rolling and having Gabby give him everything that he wanted.  Then when 11 months came, he crawled and has been loving it since.  No, he is not walking.  But soon enough.  And really I am ok with that.  The boy LOVES to get into everything. He is our little explorer which has unleashed the explorer in Gabby.  Which does mean many hours of exploring and destroying together.  They have too much fun together.

We are so grateful that he is part of our little family.  He is a big tease, has a huge smile which matches his big eyes, and he is so sweet.  He is our little monster.  We had a party for him a few days after, but this is from the celebration of his big day.  Happy Birthday sweet boy.  We love you!

 He was so gentle with the cake at first and then there was no mercy... the cake was destroyed in seconds after that.
